Your Stay

No one looks forward to a hospital stay, but at Brownwood Regional Medical Center, we work hard to make sure your visit is as pleasant as possible. Here’s a few things you should know about your room and our hospital in general that can help make your time with us restful and healing.

Brownwood Regional Medical Center offers both private and semi-private rooms depending on level of care needed and room availability. Please speak with your nursing staff if you are not satisfied with your room assignment.

Your Bed:
Each bed at Brownwood Regional Medical Center is electronically adjustable and features safety side railings. Your nurse will show you how to properly work the controls.

Television Channels:

Smoking:
Brownwood Regional Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking and/or the use of any tobacco products is prohibited anywhere on hospital grounds.

Meals:
In-room meal service is provided three times, daily. Your meals will vary based on your diet needs during recuperation. If you’d like more information about in-room meals, please call Nutrition Services at (325) 456- 8963.

Meal service hours:

  • Monday & Thursday 6 am to 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 6 am to 6 pm
  • Saturday & Sunday 6 am to 2 pm
