You can help your baby arrive "special delivery" by participating in childbirth classes which are offered free to parents delivering at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Classes include relaxation, breathing techniques, and other information to prepare couples for labor and delivery.

We have a variety of times to meet the demanding schedules of parents-to-be. We offer either four 3 hour classes or an all day class to meet your needs. A new session of childbirth classes begins each month and is held in Classrooms 1 and 2, from 6pm to 9pm, in the Outpatient Center.

Childbirth classes should be taken during the seventh month of pregnancy, and class size is limited so sign up early. The classes are offered on a space available basis to couples not planning to deliver at Brownwood Regional Medical Center at a cost of $55 per couple.
