Laboratory

Brownwood Regional's Laboratory provides an impressive array of diagnostic services in surgical pathology, cytopathology, hematology, microbiology, chemistry and blood banking with the latest technology. Fully automated multi-test instruments screen samples for disorders in various organ systems, providing physicians with reliable test results in a timely manner.

The Laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission. The Laboratory’s Medical Director and Assistant Medical Director are certified by the American Board of Pathology. Both pathologists are affiliated with Community Pathology Associates at Baylor College of Medicine. This enhances consultative services in all of the sub-specialty areas of Pathology, such as Breast, GI, OB/GYN, Prostrate, Skin, and thyroid. Both pathologists are active members of the BRMC medical staff.
