Brownwood Regional Medical Center Senior Circle and Healthy Woman Programs Benefit Loaves and Fishes
Brownwood, Texas – February 3, 2009
Brownwood Regional Medical Center (BRMC) Healthy Woman and Senior Circle programs will benefit Brownwood’s local Loaves and Fishes program. Brownwood Regional Medical Center is committed to our community and realizes the strain put on area non-profit programs. To assist with the needs of individuals that depend on Loaves and Fishes for nourishment, BRMC will make a monetary donation for each person that attends the Healthy Woman brownbag luncheon, signs up as a new Healthy Woman member or signs up as a new Senior Circle member on February 10th.
On February 10th, BRMC Healthy Woman will host its monthly brownbag luncheon with a program dedicated to Women’s Heart Health. Dr. Tim Moore of Brownwood Cardiology and BRMC’s Heart Center staff will present educational information on the number one killer of American women, heart disease. Each year cardiovascular diseases claim the lives of nearly half a million women - that's almost one per minute. This program is free of charge to anyone who would like to attend. The brownbag luncheon will be held at Adams Street Community Center from noon – 1 p.m.
Directly following the Healthy Woman luncheon, Healthy Woman and Senior Circle will participate in Walmart’s Women’s Heart Health Day.
